My Local Driving Instructor is an online directory designed to help users find independent driving instructors and driving schools in their local area. We do not provide driving lessons, handle bookings, or take payments on behalf of instructors.

2. Instructor Listings & Accounts

Instructors who create an account or manage a listing agree that:
  • All information provided is accurate, truthful and up to date
  • They are legally entitled to offer driving tuition
  • They are responsible for maintaining their own professional standards, insurance and compliance
Listings are managed by instructors themselves. We do not verify qualifications unless explicitly stated.

3. Acceptable Use & Content Standards

Instructors must not upload, display or link to any content that is inappropriate, misleading or unlawful.

Prohibited content includes (but is not limited to):

  • Offensive, abusive, discriminatory or defamatory material
  • Sexually explicit or suggestive images or text
  • Misleading claims about qualifications, pass rates or services
  • Content that infringes copyright or intellectual property rights
  • False contact details or impersonation of another business

Images

  • Images must be appropriate, relevant and professional
  • Logos and photos must belong to the instructor or business listed
  • Stock images must be properly licensed

External Links

Links included on instructor listings must not point to:
  • Unsecured websites (non-HTTPS)
  • Malware, spam or misleading pages
  • Unrelated or inappropriate content
We reserve the right to remove or disable any external links that pose a security or reputational risk.

4. Misuse of the Platform

Users and instructors must not:
  • Attempt to interfere with site functionality or security
  • Use automated tools to scrape data
  • Circumvent account restrictions or access controls
  • Upload malicious code or attempt unauthorised access
Any misuse may result in suspension or permanent removal without notice.

5. Moderation & Removal of Content

We reserve the right to:

Any agreement, lesson, payment or arrangement made between a learner and an instructor is strictly between those parties. My Local Driving Instructor:
  • Is not responsible for lesson quality, availability or outcomes
  • Is not involved in disputes between learners and instructors

7. Paid Listings (Future)

We may introduce paid or enhanced listing options in the future. Any paid features will:
  • Be optional
  • Be clearly described
  • Be subject to additional terms at the time of purchase

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for:
  • Loss or damage arising from reliance on listing information
  • Actions or omissions of instructors listed on the site
  • Temporary unavailability or technical issues

9. Intellectual Property
